We are recruiting for an Assistant Professor of Research in Physiology and
Neuroscience at the Zilkha Neurogenetic Institute. The candidate is expected to carry out independent research in understanding sensory processing and behavior in normal and abnormal animal models. The candidate needs to have a strong research background with extensive postdoctoral research experience in systems neuroscience and have mastered related research techniques and skills, esp. electrophysiological recording techniques and data analysis with custom software based on python or matlab. The candidate needs to have a strong track record of publications in related neuroscience research, and Extensive expertise in medicine, translational, experimental mouse models is also preferred.
The annual base salary range for this position is $69,841-$116,398.
