The Keck School of Medicine (KSOM) of the University of Southern California (USC) and Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) in the Department of Pediatrics in the Division of Pediatric Infectious Diseases, are actively seeking a full-time faculty member for the position of Assistant Professor of Pediatrics. (Clinician Educator Track)
The Division of Pediatric Infectious Diseases at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles is comprised of 8 physician faculty and two nurse practitioners. CHLA has an active Antimicrobial Stewardship Program (ASP) headed by a physician within our division, staffed by two ASP pharmacists. Another ID physician is the medical director for the CHLA Infection Prevention Committee (IPC). Our new faculty member will be instrumental in implementing a new hospital and departmental role implementing enterprise responses to public health directives related to emerging infections/special pathogens.
The annual base salary range for this position is $95,904-$325,712.
