The Master of Science in Applied Psychology program in the Department of Psychology at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, California, is seeking a Full-Time Applied Psychology Faculty beginning Fall Term, 2023. This is a practice track faculty position, rank and salary range open and dependent upon qualifications. The position is based on campus in LA and will include in-person and online teaching graduate-level courses (e.g., consumer psychology, user experience research, research methods, internship).
Ideal candidates will have an interest in forward-looking applications of consumer psychology or related areas (e.g., consumer behavior, user experience, media, advertising). Demonstrated industry experience (e.g., consumer insights, UX research, experience design, brand consulting) is preferred. The position requires a PhD in psychology or related field (e.g., Marketing, Sociology, Behavioral Economics) and teaching experience, preferably at the graduate level. The Master of Science in Applied Psychology Program (MAPP) is an innovative terminal master’s program designed to propel students into jobs where they will use psychology to address real-world issues in non-clinical roles.

The annual base salary range for this position is $80,495 – $89,335.
