The USC Alfred E. Mann School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences is seeking a Postdoctoral Scholar Research Associate-Pharmacoepidemiology & Drug Utilization Research. This position is with a newly established Program on Medicines and Public Health. This position is available for 1-year and renewable contingent on successful progress and available funding. Qualifications
- Applicants must have a doctoral degree in pharmacoepidemiology, epidemiology, health policy or health services research. One to three years of experience is preferred in health care research, industry, consulting, government, or an academic environment.
- Prior experience with advanced pharmacoepidemiologic methods and/or geospatial methods is desired.
- Prior experience working with and analyzing large databases (administrative claims healthcare data, electronic health records in particular) using R, SAS and/or STATA statistical software is preferred.
- Preference will be given to candidates with a compelling publication record, evidence of substantial research productivity, and ability to successfully communicate scientific information.

The annual base salary range for this position is $64,480 – $75,000.
