The Department of Radiation Oncology at the KSOM of Univ. of Southern California is recruiting a board-certified Medical Physicist possessing a Ph.D. for an Associate or full Professor faculty position. Seeking candidate with expertise in machine calibration and equipment quality assurance (accelerators, CT simulators, and HDR units); experience in special procedures (SRS, TBI, TSET, eye plaque treatment, IGRT, SBRT, HDR brachytherapy and treatment planning). The applicant will provide didactic teaching and training for medical residents and staff. Excellent communication skills and engagement in clinical research and development initiatives. The Department of Radiation Oncology consists of 8 Medical Physicists who provide service in various USC hospitals and community-based clinics.
