Director, Human Capital & Time Management Applications – IS Corp Systems and Apps – Full Time 8 Hour Days (Exempt) (Non-Union) – (Los Angeles, California, United States)

The Director, Human Capital & Time Management Applications oversees the operation and strategic planning of Human Capital and Time Management applications and ensures its enterprise applications and digital software packages align with the business objectives. This individual’s principal goals are leadership in the design, definition and widely use of the applications that support and enhance the effectiveness of all the human capital and time management applications and aligning of the resources under their control to meet Health Systems goals. The Director, will plan, coordinate, and direct all activities related to the development and management of these applications that enhance operations, and associated back-office and financials applications. The Director will work closely with decision makers for the purpose to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective technology solutions. This individual is also responsible for supporting and assisting in making sure new and innovative digital solutions support Keck Medicines business objectives. The candidate will oversee the Human Capital and Time Management Applications departments personnel and is a key participant in laying out a vision for additional solutions.

Essential Duties:

  • Manages all Human Capital and Time Management applications (Kronos, UKG, and API, etc.) and digital (various) HRMS system software, data management, and reporting systems through a team of knowledgeable direct reports.
  • Develop, lead, and direct all HRMS and Time Management digital applications operations and strategic planning, including business requirements, project planning, support, as well as organizing and negotiating the allocation of resources.
  • Thorough understanding of the business and applications strategy, and complex analytics as they relate to Human Capital Management.
  • Effectively drive business culture and technology change in a complex environment.
  • Define strategic data driven initiatives and oversee the development of long-term plans and proposals.
  • Coordinate, allocate, and manage resources and projects across multiple teams.
  • Consistently maintain knowledge on current trends and developments in the field of HCM, ERP, and digital applications
  • Provide development and support assistance to ensure enterprise and packaged applications are functional, effective, and available.
  • Collaborate with departments to create performance dashboards to identify, prioritize, develop, analyze, evaluate, and communicate key application enhancements.
  • Manage Operational and Capital Budgets to meet target goals and initiatives.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Req Bachelor’s Degree
  • Req 5 years In a management role managing departments providing solutions utilizing ERP and Enterprise Software (i.e. Oracle, Workday, UKG, Kronos, Infor, SAP etc.)
  • Req 5 years Relevant experience focused on applications and software products to solve complex problems. Experience with at least 2 of the following applications modules: Recruitment, Human Resources, Compensation, Training and Development, Time and Labor, Absence Management, Position Control, and Payroll.
  • Req Experience navigating a complex matrix organization with C-Suite exposure preferred.
  • Req Previous experience in working with complex HR and Payroll data.
  • Req Knowledge of information management and quantitative skills, including working knowledge of IT infrastructure, various technologies and platforms, and enterprise specific vendor solutions.
  • Req Must possess exceptional analytical, written, and oral presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Pref Master’s degree

Required Licenses/Certifications:

  • Req Fire Life Safety Training (LA City) If no card upon hire, one must be obtained within 30 days of hire and maintained by renewal before expiration date. (Required within LA City only)

The annual base salary range for this position is $174,720.00 – $288,288.00.
