Assistant/Associate Professor of Clinical Dentistry (OPEN RANK) – (Los Angeles, California, United States)

The Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC seeks applicants for a full-time (100% FTE), clinical track position at the rank of Assistant/Associate Professor of Clinical Dentistry in the Department of Geriatrics, Special Patients and Behavioral Science. Responsibilities include providing clinical supervision and instruction of dental students at the USC Special Patients Clinic, primarily serving adults, and/or medically compromised patients, as well as teaching at the pre-doctoral level at the school and other community clinics.

Candidates must have a DDS or DMD degree and be licensed to practice in the State of California. Applicants with additional educational degrees (MS, MPH), clinical training (AEGD, GPR) and CPR Certification from the American Heart Association (AHA), and with experience in Inter-professional Education are strongly encouraged to apply. Experience working in military or veterans’ clinics and/or community health dental clinics is required. Applicants must have at least five years’ experience; administrative experience in overall dental clinic management is a plus. The annual base salary range for this full-time position $120,000 – $140,000.
