Licensed Vocational Nurse – Employee Health Services – Full Time 8 Hour Days – (Glendale, California, United States)

The Licensed Vocational Nurse as an integral part of the Interdisciplinary Team, utilizes the nursing process to provide therapeutic care to employees and volunteers at USC Verdugo Hills Hospital. Delivers services that meet or exceed professional, organizational, community and regulatory standards and provides customer satisfaction. Provides clinical and administrative services for new hires and volunteers. Administers immunizations, PPD skin tests, N95 mask fit testing, annual health assessments, return to work clearances, and completes new employee health assessment and clearance. Actively involved in the Injury and Illness Prevention Program. Maintains well-organized and up-to-date record keeping systems while ensuring confidentiality of employee health records. Employee participates in a collaborative work environment as demonstrated through teamwork and effective communication.

Minimum Education:
Current Licensed Vocational Nurse license in the State of California.

Minimum Experience/Knowledge:
One year experience in an acute care setting or occupational setting immediately prior to application strongly preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent public relation skills
Highly organized and detail-minded
Computer skills required
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
Capable of communicating with all levels of employee-administrative to staff.
Proficient analytical thinking and creative skills

Required License/Certification:
Valid California Vocational Nursing license
BLS required from the American Heart Association.
