Labor and Employee Relations Specialist – Employee & Labor Relation – Full Time 8 Hour Days (Exempt) (Non-Union) – (Los Angeles, California, United States)

This position will partner with the Associate Administrator ELR/LOA to conduct Labor and Employee Relations activities including the administration and negotiation of collective bargaining agreements by working with management to develop negotiation proposals and strategies to meet System needs and goals. This position will manage grievance hearings, arbitrations, and settlement conferences as well as develop and maintain relationships with both management and union representatives to foster harmonious Labor and Employee Relations. The Labor & Employee Relations Specialist should have the ability to objectively assess situations and effectively communicate with all levels of employees. This position serves as an internal consultant to management, in various arenas, including employee performance issues, employee misconduct and the issuance of corrective action. The Senior Labor & Employee Relations Representative (ELR) will support the Associate Administrator ELR/LOA in all functions of Labor and Employee Relations for departments within Keck Medicine System which consists of acute care hospitals and clinics employer over 7000 + employees. This position will partner with ELR Leadership to conduct Labor and Employee Relations activities including the administration and partnership during negotiation of collective bargaining agreements by working with management to develop and implement strategies to meet KMC’s needs and goals. This position will develop and maintain relationships with both management, employees and the unions to foster harmonious Labor and Employee Relations.
