Adjunct Lecturer in Law – LLM Legal Writing – (Los Angeles, California, United States)

USC Gould School of Law is seeking part-time lecturers to teach LLM Legal Writing (LAW 511a), a two-unit legal writing course for international LL.M. students. The semester-long course covers objective legal analysis and writing. The classes are 50 minutes and meet on campus on Tuesdays and Thursdays at either 8 a.m., 9 a.m., or 4 p.m.  Legal writing professors are expected to devote significant time to providing detailed feedback on assignments. Candidates must have a JD, at least five years of experience practicing law, and a high level of skill in legal writing. Prior teaching experience is preferred. USC reserves the “Adjunct” appointment for faculty teaching less than full-time at USC, who are employed full-time in a primary profession or career elsewhere. Adjunct faculty typically teach only one course per year but, in exceptional cases, may teach one course per semester, if approved by the dean.To ensure compliance with federal, state or local regulatory requirements as well as university policy and procedures, Adjunct Lecturers are required to complete specific training requirements as a condition of employment. Adjuncts Lecturers must complete mandated training by a required deadline. Failure to do so may result in disciplinary action up to and including termination, in accordance with the Faculty Handbook. Imaging Systems Engineer I – IS Imaging Apps – Full Time 8 Hour Days (Non-Exempt) (Non-Union) – (Los Angeles, California, United States)

The Imaging Systems Engineer, under general direction, is responsible for the day-to-day operation, administration, and support of all core clinical imaging systems (PACS, RIS, Voice Recognition) and ancillary systems. The Imaging Systems Engineer performs core imaging informatics system security maintenance, application maintenance, system maintenance, quality assurance, quality control, training, systems troubleshooting and coordination of system upgrades. The Imaging Systems Engineer works with organizational clinicians, staff, and vendors to facilitate connectivity to core clinical imaging systems, training, system modification and issue resolution. Responsibilities include: 90% Operational: Provide administration, support, installation, maintenance, management, and coordination of enterprise-wide Keck Clinical Imaging Systems. Provide off-hour on-call support for issues; apply expertise and independent judgment for full resolution. Work on assigned projects both independently and as part of a team.
